While experienced skydivers with a license and certification can fly solo, tandem skydiving is the best option in Dubai. Skydive Dubai has two main drop zones: the Palm Drop Zone and the Desert Campus Drop Zone. The entire experience should take between 3-4 hours at both locations, so plan on spending a significant portion of your day at the drop zones. Dives begins as early as 9:00 a.m., allowing you to plan your day accordingly.

Beginners are given about 30 minutes of instructions and guidelines to follow before each tandem skydive. You will then be taken up in a small plane, where you will jump out with your tandem instructor. After about 60 seconds of freefall at 120 miles per hour, your tandem skydive instructor will deploy the parachute and you can blissfully glide back down to Earth. The landing should take approximately 5-7 minutes.

What to Expect at Sky diving Dubai?

 If you're a first-time skydiver, you probably have a lot of questions, one of which is how long the experience will last. How long is the dive going to last? How long does the free fall last? In general, you can expect to spend three hours on an outdoor dive, with some adjustments depending on the weather. Taking the plane up (about 20 minutes), going over safety and instructions and then diving are all steps toward a successful jump. Free-fall time is only 60 seconds, believe it or not (just enough time to say your prayers before the parachute kicks out).

Then, once the parachute is deployed, you will glide for about five minutes, taking in the incredible experience! Overall, the preparation is an important part of the experience, but the time spent in the air cannot be overlooked.

Indoor sky diving Dubai does not require the same preparation as outdoor diving, so the time frame is shorter. Indoor dives last about an hour and a half on average. The safety course takes approximately 20 to 30 minutes, followed by approximately 10 minutes to get into gear. Finally, the jump itself will last about an hour.
